Without giving specific locations I and the people mentioned are in eastern=
Ventura or western Los Angeles counties. I=E2=80=99m about 10 miles east o=
f Kirk Smith and I too have experienced similar delays. On the other hand J=
ay Laifman is about 8 miles east of me and I=E2=80=99ve seen his replies co=
me in quickly only to see 24 hour plus delays on my immediate replies. Coul=
d it be our provider services??? I have Frontier FIOS (formerly Verizon) an=
d my Verizon email address runs under the shell of AOL.

BTW, Kirk, received your 7:51 AM (Oct. 22nd) reply at 10:58 AM. So, a lit=
tle more than 3 hours. I often email my brother in Sacramento and we volley=
back and forth like it was an instant messenger service with near zero del=
ay.

Subject: [Tigers] List delay question

I don't often post to the list, mainly because there seems to be a delay be=
tween when I send a response and when my response hits my mailbox. Recently=
I posted a response to a question and it was about a day and a half later =
that my response appeared in my inbox. By then 6 other people had responded=
with essentially the same answer and the discussion had moved on. Am I the=
 only one experiencing this?
