you say you  reset the point gap, how did the points look, was there any
spiking on them?  if you did't replace the condenser, that could very well
be the problem, they can lose the ability to hold a charge when warm, this
usually will show up as a point burning issue after a short while.  Remember
that most irritating hard to nail down problems are simple electrical
