This happened to me many years ago in a 77 Spitfire (the only Triumph I have
owned that I could bring myself to sell) so I feel for you buddy. Quite an
experience Heh! I was not smart enough back then to do anything except get
the heck out of the car and let her fry. Nothing like the smell of burning
wires and blinding white smoke in the cockpit. I will never forget it. Looks
like your getting a lot of good advice on replacing your harness so no need
to add anything except morale support. It`s really not a bad job. I
sometimes have Bev make me little diagrams when I am working on wiring. Kind
of like a family project.
