Intake / Exhaust Gasket

Good morning,

I'm getting reafdy to re-install the exhaust and intake manifolds.  I seem to 
remember a string a few months ago about the gasket being oriented correctly to 
the manifolds.  The porting was off a little if the gasket was not positioned 
correctly.  Am I on track here or am I getting confused with another gasket 
story.  Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.
