Thanks to all who replied, I decided to try a new battery as the old one
has been in the car since I got it 5 years ago. Put it in and it started
first time. But I think I'll replace that Negative Ground Strap too as it's
bound to let me down sooner or later.
One other question - I'm planning on fitting an electric fan and was
wondering what fans other people have used. I was going to look through my
JEGS catalog and find a high performance 14" but am open to other
suggestions. Also does anyone have the contact for those spacers to replace
the mechanical fan extension.
