Front sealing block

Ok, I'm about to tackle the oil leak on my front sealing block (the
aluminum block at the front of the oil pan behind the timing cover) for
the second time. I have already put two heli-coils in and thought I had
it beat before but to my delight it's still leaking. The last time I
dropped the pan. cleaned all surfaces, installed the heli-coils, all new
gaskets & wood wedges , even used Halomar. Is there something I'm
missing.
