Walt---I no longer have the anti-run-on valve in service, so I can't go
out and check, first hand. I think yours is connected properly, tho.
When this valve closes, (or opens?) it applies latent vacuum to the
float bowls, and stops fuel from being sucked into the intake due to
run-on. A large vacuum leak on a running engine would show up with very
poor idling characteristics, unless the mix was adjusted rich to
compensate.
