Really good question. I did this without question when I had my
engine/gearbox out. When I replaced the diff, it didn't make sense. How do I
get the right holes on the new diff? Do the diff, gearbox, and shafts all
have to be balanced together? How?
Also, I think the holes are offset and you're either back together properly
or 180 degrees out.
