Cliff,
I just installed a set of .020 over AE's. I'm sure you realize how
important it is to keep the ring compressor clamped tight and flat
against the block deck. I was using a crappy ring compressor & had to
keep compressor tight & turn it slightly and they dropped right in.
I would get the crank end play down to .004 if you can. There's no good
reason to start off at the far end of spec. Now's the time , doing this
on your back sucks .
