Flywheel spigit bush

Hi there listers,

I have my gearbox out at present. Does anyone know how much play there
should be on the flywheel spigot bush? ie should it be an interference fit
to both the flywheel and to the gearbox shaft or is some play permitted.
Also I read somewhere that new spigot bushes should be soaked in oil for
twenty four hours before fitting. Is this an old wives tale or something
that must be done?
