All...thank you so much for all your comments and suggestions. I was asked
to post everyone regarding the incredible amount of responses I got
concerning what to do when laying up the 6 for the winter months (in an
unheated garage). I had no less than 20 responses and 16 suggested I do not
start the car in such cold weather, 3 suggest I do start the car but make
sure I let it heat up to operating temp, one suggested I move the car
backward and forward to get action in the whole drivetrain. The majority
were concerned about condensation (and it's impact on the exhaust system)
and adequate lubrication in the cold due to the difficulty of getting decent
flow in such cold weather. I think the path I will take will be to trickle
charge the battery, change all the fluids prior to storage, and NOT start
the car during the cold months. Once again, thank you all for your
comments!!
