Has anyone disassembled a rear-view mirror?
I can't find any way to get it apart in order to get at the inop day/night
mechanism.

(having discovered, today, that a distributor rotor can disassemble itself
at 5Krpm and put a damper on the afternoon's entertainment... yeah, I got
home, but at 2Krpm with two re-assemblies... actually, I saw this as a good
thing, since it meant that I hadn't run out of gas again)
