Carl:
I am guessing about 180 lbs completely stripped (interior,
windshield, doors, hood, fenders, deck lid, dash, etc).
You will need to brace the door openings or you will twist the
body. I used electrical conduit bolted to the a and b pillars.
Two adult men can lift it off the chassis, but four would be
better.

Hi.
How heavy is the body of the TR6 to lift once all the interior and trunk
items are removed and the hood is un-bolted?
Also has anyone used an engine hoist to lift the body. Is this
advisable? and if it can be done where do you mount the ropes to the
body for best lifting and do you need to remove the windshield (glass)?
