Intake Manifolds Identical?

List;
I have two seemingly identical intake manifolds. The only apparent differences 
are that one has the British Leland Swirl cast in it and this one is stamped 
V3388 Stanpart. The other one does not have the swirl but is stamped V3389 
Stanpart. 

I have always assumed that a different part number reflected a difference in 
the actual part. What say the wisdom of the list?
