I have tried to figure this one out for myself but cannot come up with
an easy answer.
I pulled out the distributor for some work and am now trying to
reinstall it. I am trying
to slide the shaft down to the dog drive slots but the "tabs" on the
bottom of the dizzy
shaft don't seem to want to slide into the slots at the bottom of the
shaft well. I can't
clamp the dizzy down unless it seats that last half inch. Is there a
good method to
follow here? The pinch bolt isn't obstructing or the clamp collar...
