Having done hundreds of TR6 oil changes with the stock filter setup,=C2=A0 =
it is easier to get the canister out from the bottom by dropping the clutch=
 slave out of the way. Dealers back in the day would remove the fuel pump t=
o access from the top but I had personal experience where they left the fue=
l pump disconnected.=C2=A0 Needless to say it's quite the attention getter =
to be stranded on a major thoroughfare at rush hour within sight of the dea=
lership!
