Darryl,
     I am hoping that no one on the list will laugh, but I sported the big
bucks and bought a colortune, an accessory that replaces the spark plug and
allows you to see the fire. Get a set of jets for the carb and use the
colortune to determine which is too rich and which is too lean. It will also
help you ensure your idle is dead on as well. Your performance will be right
and your fuel consumption will be as good as it gets. Lou
