Hi Vic and everyone,
Well, the family and I have returned from Disney World late last night
(Monday) and are fighting reality shock today.
One very important task that we all need to be thinking about, is
finding a viable replacement for the Alpine transmission. Doug Jennings
(Tiger Auto) and I were discussing this topic because of the vanishing
parts situation and lack of robust overdrives available to Alpine
owners. We need to start searching the boneyards for a donor auto, maybe
from the Isuzu as you mentioned. Doug said that the only parts
available, that one can get anymore, are the brass syncro rings.
