Can anyone tell me where the "stop lamp switch" is located on a S-V?

Gdday,

The standard stop switch is a hydraulic switch attached to the brass 4 way
connection in the brake line just below the brake master cylinder. It has a
parrallel thread so requires a copper gasket as well. An alternative is to
have an electrical switch mounted behind the brake pedal like newer cars.
