Your Sceptre belongs to the same family as the Hillman
Super Minx and Singer Vogue. It wasn't strictly badge
engineering though as the Sceptre had unique bodywork.
It was more a case of platform sharing - the sort of
thing VW-Audi-Skoda-Seat likes to do these days.

Sorry folks,
I am writing a text for a photo about Humber Sceptre
64 to our biggest
Classic
cars magazine "Mobilisti".
Can you shortly inform me under which Marques this car
was issued
(Badge
engineering)??

At least Hillman Minx, Sunbeam Rapier and Singer?
Sorry to bomb the list, but google was out of order,
so I couldn't
visit to
all Rootes pages.

Larry
