As long as we're talking long-shot tires (Toyos), whats the deal with
Sumitomo HTRZs? There's a guy in my Region who's been bangin' out FTD and
FTD-Indexed like he's going for milk in his Mitsu Eclipse GSX. We oughta
be spankin' him with our megabuck R1s, but we're not. Is this the
undiscovered hot tire, or do we all just suck worse than we'd dared to
believe possible? (easy question, we suck, but come on, its a street tire!)
I can't find out for myself because the smallest size is 15"... and I'm
stuck with 14". Sorry, Scotty, no 18s. ;^)
Hmmmm... jump to ST, slice tire budget in half, and look good while doing
it... Where's that tire exclusion list??? I'm comin' up short on the
SCCA web site...
And if anyone can come up with a Sumitomo web site with specs, you have
a better search engine than I do.
