I bought the shop manuals, and found out that there are several conditions
experienced on the track that could have resulted in my losing ABS and TCS
for a while. The way to reset the TCS is 100 ignition cycles without any
further faults, followed by driving over 8 mph one time. The ABS apparently
resets itself the next time you drive over 8 mph after only one ignition
cycle, which is why the ABS worked the next time I started the car after the
faults happened.
I'm replacing my shocks tomorrow, and will try to replace my brake fluid
soon. Anyone have any opinions about Valvoline synthetic brake fluid? Or
should I get some other specific brand designed for racing? I don't race
too often and don't plan on replacing the fluid very often either.
