I don't know where all this RWD vs FWD vs AWD drive talk is coming from, but 
I will say this. 

I don't care if you have a FWD, RWD, or AWD vehicle, if you don't think you 
can change the front bar to your advantage then you've got some learning to 
do about setting up your car.  The idea that FWD, RWD, or AWD vehicles get 
some kind of advantage with a front swaybar over the other is generalized 
ignorance.

In particular, there is a statement in the latest Sportscar mag (Nat's 
coverage issue) regarding Mark Daddio, mentioning his use of unconventional 
setups.  If you want to read a book and live and die by what it tells you 
then accept the consequences, but if you're smart you'll put a lot of thought 
into how things work and how a combination of configurations, no matter how 
unconventional, might work to improve your vehicles performance.
