Here it is, the results to the very unofficial team.net swaybar
poll.

Disclaimer: There was no testing done to support these findings. The
results were not tallied by an independent accounting firm. These results
are not scientific, they are opinion, and with my math skills probable
aren't even right.lol They are opinion expressed by those who responded to
my post. There are many people who did not respond or don't care. This is
just a poll of a very small percentage of autocrossers across the country
and in no way represent the majority of you.
They are also a little messed up, as my questions were somewhat
confused, they had multiple parts. So the results had allot of answers that
were not applicable.

        1. How many of you have changed your front bar, did you go softer or
harder?
1a. 55% have changed the front bar. 1b. 20% went softer 80% went
stiffer.

        2. Do you think it made a big difference, would switching back hurt
your performance dramatically?
2a. 60% said it made a big difference, 40% said no major difference.
2b. It was 50%/50% on going back to stock hurting performance.

        3. If you have not changed your bar yet, do you think doing so would
increase your performance?
        3. 95% yes it would help.

        4. Would a change in the rule to read "may change front or rear bar,
but not both" or "no swaybar may be changed" would cause current cars to be
uncompetitive?
        4. 80% thought it would not cause a major upset in class structure.

        5. What kind of car do you run, it what class.
        5. These were all stock class cars, 50% rear drive, 40% front drive
and 10% all four.

        6. What is the average price you paid for a swaybar?
        6. $200.00 average.

Thanks for those of you who responded, it was interesting to see
what people were thinking about this subject.
        Enjoy..
