Okay, I am not small (5'10" 260#) and am looking for a
race seat either used or new for the larger person. I
have seen them in catalogs but have not had a chance
to sit in one as it seems most of the people know
seem to be slimmer (not hard) than me. I have seen
seats listed with 13, 15, 16, 17" and 18" widths. This
raises a few questions. Where is this measured. Also,
does anyone have a used one they are looking to part
with. Not looking for pretty just structurally sound.
I have seen some for 250-300 dollars and that eats
most of my budget for next year up. Any suggestions
are greatly appreciated. All size and weights will be
held in stictest confidence (unless blackmail gets me
a lower price seat).
