Maybe that was just the point John Kelly is trying to make!!

The RSR doesn't compete with the Lotus, Nissan/Datsun Z cars, Mazdas,
Fieros, or even the standard Porsche 911's or 914's in (GT-2) road racing.
It competes with the higher horsepower cars in GT-1.

In Solo II, however, it is classed with those GT-2 cars mentioned above in
A Prepared.

If I understand the point John is trying to make, perhaps there SHOULD be
some kind of relationship in the classing. Since all GT cars are allowed
into
Solo II Prepared classes, why not have GT-1 cars go to BP/CP, GT-2 cars go
to AP, GT-5 cars to DP, etc??

John, it makes sense to me. Of course, I (like you and unlike the other
respondants to this topic so far) DO have a dog in this fight - thus it
would.
