I thought that intake manifolds are free in Street Prepared (along with
plenums and runners on a L98 motor), so the Extrude Hone process should be an
alternative to buying a "Big Mouth" TPIS or other such aftermarket piece. Or,
you can always clean up an aftermarket piece with Extrude Hone.

Now, heads can be only port-matched.

Sure have, it's just not legal for the intake manifold on a Street
Prepared Motor!  Port Matching only, take a look at the rules.
