R Compound Tires and Heat

Hi y'all,

As a second year autocrosser I've seen some interesting things with the
G-Force tires but not really sure what these observations really mean. Any
input on these would be greatly appreciated.

1) On very hot (ambient temps above 100 deg F) the G-forces seem to loose
the ability to communicate to me (or should I say I can't "read" as well
what their telling me) the amount of lateral grip I have available to me.

2) Contrary to number one the tires seem to respond and communicate better
in higher ambient temperature situations the amount of braking force they
will (or in my case won't) give.

3) On concrete surfaces ambient temp doesn't seem to make as much difference
as asphalt surfaces in  regards to available lateral traction. Braking seems
to be about the same. Is this the nature of the surface, the tires, or both?

4) Tires seem to have a more consistent responses to inputs with a co-driver
running additional runs in same heats as long as tire pressures are closely
maintained. Does the tire carcass need heat to work better?

I guess some background is necessary. Car is ES Neon w/ Koni single
adjustable shocks. Driver is McKamey enabled (but not really got it yet).
Surfaces are Mineral Wells (asphalt) and Pennington (concrete).
