Have You ever tried to get good in a winged ultra-light formula car. Your
inner ear, backbone, hearing, wrists, reflexes, brain and sphincter mussel
are all saying "holy shit". All this wile your ears are popping from the
low air pressure pulling the helmet off your head and your eyes are watering
from the vibration. The motor can be rebuilt for $300 if you need both new
pistons and an upright can be replaced for $75 and a Sunday afternoon of
work. Last but not least, if you loose You only yourself to blame. Your
were either out engineered, or out driven or both. If you win all the
Competition comes up and Honestly, shake your hand with true congratulations
and then prepare for next year. We are all in this for the love of the
sport. Most A-mod drivers are not looking for more power or downforce, they
are looking for talent to hang on for 40 sec. Most A-Mod drivers would love
to see 100 SAE cars to show up. This year we were even thinking of donating
to get the fastest sae car a trophy from the rest of the class.
