OH MY GOD! It was a joke!! While I'm sure the Nascar community does have
the hicks that I've described. I was exagerating with the use of sarcasm.
Those that fit the desciption, know it. Those that don't, should see the
humur. Even if it was a poor attempt at it. I purchased 8 tickets for the
1st race in Sept. of 2001. Complete with VIP parking passes (out of the
mud), reserved seats, and beer garden tent (unlimited beer and food
sponsored by my company). As well, you'll see my company logo, go round and
round out there on the hood of one of those cars. That's right the hood!
Now I spent $350ea for those tickets, and I've never been to one, or even
watched one on TV. (going around in a circle never interested me) But this
way I can say that I've been and I'm also showing my support of the sport
and to my customers that bought millions of dollars of electrical supplies
from me that went into the project. I'll be taking 4 of my employees and 4
customers that have been spending 2 years of their lives working on this
project.
BTW, I too am missing the attitude change.
