Uh, oldest helmet standard is Snell *90* for Solo II as of 1/1/01

The rule Howard cited (4.3.1) says "current and two immediately preceding
Snell Foundation standards."

With Snell certifying helmets to a 2000 standard (as of last month), 2000
now becomes the current standard. The two previous are 1995 and 1990.

1985 helmets are good in Solo II to the end of this year.

(Note the ROAD RACING standard is different -- generally current and ONE
previous. 2000 GCR 17.23.2 specifically specifices Snell SA90 or later.
Don't be surprised if 2001 GCR specifies Snell SA95 or later, but I've seen
no announcement to that yet. Also note, Road Racing requires an SA helmet,
Solo II may use SA or M helmets).
