There has been a discussion today on the New England Region (NER) SCCA list
about running a Street Mod 2 class for their regional events. This would
permit 944 Turbos that are tweaked with various mods to come out and play
against each other, as well as, "blown" Miatas and other like prepped cars.
It isn't entirely official (yet), but the timing and scoring folks have
created an area in the software to score the class. :^) So for all those
that are interested in participating in this class at the NER event at Fort
Devens, MA Sunday, April 1, please send me and email and let me know your
interest. We're going to try to give the excluded Street Mod Cars a place
and class to play in.
