Unless you have a MG history book its hard to isolate year, but
I can approximate for you:
"1500"= 1955-58-drum brakes all around-single taillight on fenders
"1600"= 1959-60-Disc brakes up front-additional turn signal above brake
light on fenders.
"1600 Mk2"=1961-62-still disc brake up front-brake and turn lights moved
to the body, below the trunk.
"Twin Cam"=1958-60-disc brakes all around and twin cam motor! (I had
one)
"Deluxe"=1959-61-disc brakes all around-no twin cam motor.
The last two are quite rare. Hope this helped
