So commences the Dilemma:

>From the february FasTrack:

Street Prepared: SP competitors are reminded that any
device which is part of the Stock induction systen and
servers to limit or otherwise control boost is
required by Section 14.10.C to remain in the original
configuration.

About 4 weeks ago I was asking for help in resolving
an issue with a member and his 93 RX-7. He changed the
computer in his car to an Appexi(sp) and says it does
not alter the boost.

But the factory computer controls boost, so this
device is not legal according to this new rule. First
off, am I reading this correctly?

Second, is there a way to police this? If so, how?
This has really opened a big mess with a few other ASP
competitors.

BTW: I recieved 11 responses to my question and 6 said
it was illegal to change, 5 said it was legal to
change. If it is that confusing to this knowledgable
crowd, then imagine what it is to the new member.

Thanks, Don Miller
