yes, and that would definitely be enough to make it a
far better car, but maybe still in the same class
(celica st and gt are both in GS with a 20hp
difference) but listen to the extras the Spec-V has on
the SE-R:

As in extra-firm springs and shock absorbers and, for
flat maneuvering through the curves and corners, two
fat stabilizer bars (22.0 mm in the front and 38.1 mm
in the rear). To save you a trip to the aftermarket,
we also added a front strut tower brace right at the
factory. Spanning the strut towers, it helps reduce
chassis twist and maintain suspension geometry for
precise tracking and steering through corners and over
rough pavement. The SE-R Spec V takes things even more
seriously. Its Spec V-rated suspension is
autocross-ready with stiffer suspension bushings
(polyurethane in front) and springs so firm we
actually had to soften up the shock damping just to
compensate.

to list it that's-
10 more hp
6 speed transmission
LSD
stiffer springs
bigger sway bars-38mm rear sway bar in a FWD car!
front strut tower brace
polyurethane bushings

oh, yeah, and it's "autocross-ready"
