Vote For Michelle, The Connecticut Beauty

In October, we reported that Michelle Lombardo, 20, who grew up
in Glastonbury, was in the final eight of the Sports Illustrated
Fresh Faces Swimsuit Model Search. People went to the online poll
to vote for their favorites. The winner will be featured in the
2004 SI swimsuit issue and will get a three-year modeling
contract and a brand-new 2004 Nissan 350 Z Roadster.
To recap, Lombardo's the daughter of Janice and Peter M. Lombardo
and sister of Melissa and Peter J. Lombardo of Glastonbury. She
was co-captain of the Glastonbury High School volleyball team
(Class of 2001) and won an award for a combination of
sportsmanship, leadership and being on the honor roll.
Voting online ends Jan. 20. Lombardo will find out the first week
in February whether she is the winner. It will be announced Feb.
6 on NBC's "Dateline" along with a story on the contest. The
issue hits newstands Feb. 10 and 11.
