Extreme Geez G-Cube

Now that my serial cabled Palm Vx is starting to lose its battery life, I
was wondering if anyone has used one of the newer Palms with a USB Hotsync
cable attached to a generic USB to serial cable to record runs and download
the data into their PC.  I don't want to buy a new Palm if I can't make my
G-Cube work.  The Extreme Geez website is gone.
