I am looking for autocross course maps that have been drawn to scale.
I just purchased a racing simulator called "Live For Speed" which
includes an autocross mode. It has an empty parking lot where you can
drop cones, pointers, and timing gates. Then you run the course in
your choice of about 7 different cars.
I've made a scale map of the simulation's parking lot, so I can take
real course maps and trace them to figure out where the cones go in
the simulator. I've already entered Jake Hodges' course from Round 14
at Marina, and it turned out to be eerily similar to the real thing.
So I am looking for any other real life course maps that are drawn to
scale, especially if you know what the scale is. I'd especially like
courses that people remember as being fun to drive, and/or National
Tour or National Championship courses. The simulated parking lot is
820' x 440'.
You can get your own copy for about $20 or play a free demo (no
autocross in the demo) at http://www.liveforspeed.com/
If you want a copy of the Round 14 course to use in the game, ask me
and I can email it to you.
