Over 95% of the cars have been converted to the air system. It's so much
nicer. If nothing else, if you spring an air leak in the cockpit, it's
no big deal. :)
Most people think it's a big plus. In fact, most people will try to take
a seller down $1,000 if it still has the hydrolic doors.
As to worrying about anything, replace the hydrolics with the air but keep
the hydrolics. That way, if a future owner wants it back original, he'll
have the parts.
But read the section in the FAQ I sent you. That will
explain a lot of it.
