On the Jag front brakes... USE CAUTION!
The whole assembly is interchangeable, but components themselves
are different! The roadster brakes are made "under patent", yet
you will discover the piston seals are not interchangeable.
A friend of mine had an early E-type, and was shocked to see
the brakes on the roadster. Funny part was the Jag parts were
more expensive then the Datsun parts. Maybe things have
changed.
Also always check the brake pads have the grove in the back,
to match the little "button" on the caliper. SOME jag pads
do not have that grove, yet the pads seem "correct".
