Hood Switch?

Well, this topic seems to have been hit on before but never addressed
directly.  Is there any difficulty in switching hoods between a high and low
windshield car?  The current one has several dings-looks like the PO either
dropped something across it.  It's apparent that the hardware would have to
be switched and it appeared to have slightly different side support rails.
I measured them and they appear to be the same size?  Any ideas before I
pull both of them off?
