I didn't see any responses to your inquire, so a I think I will put in my 2
cents.
The 10 mm hole could produce a greater force ( Area x Pressure ) on the body of
the tensioner than the smaller hole in the plug if it is flush with the head. I
don't know if this would be a problem, but I would reinstall the plug.
