Marc,
I bought a gravity feed HVLP gun from Harbor Freight that uses my air
compressor. It takes about 15 psi to run the gun so a very small compressor
could be used.
Another benefit of the gun is that is uses maybe half the material of a
regular air paint gun (which BTW, I do have a good Develbiss gun too).
The savings in material usage has already paid for the new gun. Not sure how
good the gun is but a friend of mine recommended it. He is a professional
body man.
There is a lot less over spray with this type of gun. Makes it pretty clean
to use.
