At the risk of stirring up a can of worms, I would like to express my
political opinion in an attempt to sway votes. Gore, in his book, calls for
the elimination of all internal combustion engines. I want the roadster
community to know that he firmly believes all of our little cars should be
scrapped in favor of electric vehicles. A funny thing really. Where does
all the electricity come from? If you guessed fossil fueled power plants,
you are right. I'll concede that a small percentage comes from hydro and
wind power. Gore is not concerned with sound science. He wants to be the
environment's champion, and will support any opinion that projects him that
way. I will give a brief example and then feel free to flame at will. He
stated that 90% of sulfur emissions in the atmosphere came from internal
combustion engines, and called for more regulations. The truth is that 99%
of all sulfur emissions come from volcanoes. Either he didn't research
properly, intentionally told a fib, or listened to the wrong advisor. In
any case, the information was wrong. I don't want someone spreading this
type of lie deciding the fate of my roadster.

Sorry about the OT rant,
Andy
