Stop the economy, I want to get off!!!!
Seriously, we can't expect everyone to just stop buying new cars. And cars
are getting safer, faster, and cleaner all the time. Great!
Now I consider myself to be something of a greeny. I was even an employee
of Greenpeace, once (many years ago!). I live strongly by the three R's:
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
Not for one second did I ever consider buying a Datsun Roadster on
environmental criteria! It's a 30y.o. gas guzzling (twin Solex's do that,
you know) lead-emitting SOB. And I love it. No excuses. No problems. You
don't have to justify your passions, IMO.
I'll look after the environment in every OTHER way I can. 8^)
