Many places now have equipment to flush automatic transmissions.
Is this a gimic to increase the fees that they extract from
us,or is this a beneficial process? I have a couple of
vehicles that I am betting ready to change the fluid on,
'88 Honda w/200K miles and '97 Dodge Ram van w/86K miles,
and can't decide if I should pay the extra bucks to have
the transmissions cleaned out, or just change the fluids
myself.
