Many years ago I went to look at a 67.5 2L on LI. The car was a severe
beater with dents and rust everywhere and lots of horrible modifications and
pieces missing.

Anyway, the guy, not knowing I knew anything about Roadsters and me playing
dumb (not hard to do), I listened to all he had to say about the car - blah,
blah, blah.

He pointed to the Speedo and said "See, it'll do 160"

At that point I started laughing!!!!!

BTW, in about 88 he wanted 4K for that POS. He told me in Japan they sold
for 20K. I told him to ship it to Japan!!!!!!!!
