BTW, Mark. How long is a "long time"? You might want to consider that
things can get stuck with age. Take the fan belt off and put a strap wrench
on the damper. Walk it through slowly by hand to make sure that none of the
valves are sticking. Stuck valves can become bent valves if the starter is
turning the engine. Just a thought......
