Hello All,
As Calspeed put out to the list, this year's West Coast Z nationals will be
held one week after Solvang. This will help those of us who would like to go
as we do not have to race down the coast and then go to another show the day
after Solvang.
I have heard from Greg Smith from Motorsport Auto and once again he has
extended an invitation to all Datsun Roadster Owners to come to the show.
Since we are not "Z" cars we do not have to pay any entrance fees.
Last year we were given center placement on the street and Speedvision was
there and very interested in our cars. Edgar Gonzalez' 1960 SPL212 was a big
hit and his father-in-law got interviewed for a segment on Hemmings road
show.
It is a HUGE show with hundreds of cars there. I am going to attend this
year and I hope we have a good showing from my SoCalROC friends. The show is
held in the City of Orange right outside of Motorsport Auto.
