Lower tensioners.

Hi all,
        a while ago I read that there was a tensioner from another nissan
engine that would go into a U20 as a lower tensioner. It was not a good choice
because because it has no one way valve and no oil escape hole in the
tensioner foot. can anyone tell me what engine this was from??
